Night tube

We gave Uber the night off by entering the near surreal world of Night Tube just after 2am. It takes no time at all but plenty happens in between.
I had donner kebab dropped on me as we went over some challenging bit of track; so there I was with salad and shards of meat on me.

A guy on the carriage was drinking a whole bottle of red wine; no beakers here.
Another guy was completely gone; with his phone in hand..he wasn't going to wake up anytime soon..likely to hit the end of the lines several times over till morning tube at 7am.

Someone threw up on themselves; putting her hands in a cupping position..sick over her dress.

Later on it was standing room only. There were good lookers; nothing like being dressed up on a night out.

At the other end the bus is 24 hrs Fri and Sat nights so no problem.

Tired from work; and to make it more challenging i have to be near White City for Mon's filming at 7am..Sorted tax out so i'm soaring like in the HMRC poster. No fine for me.

Had a lovely Sun lunch as early as 12.30.. sprouts, beans, beef. Revitalising and this the weekend for it after Sat morning's out of town Parkrun. It's about adding energy and tonight on this coach back to La la land I feel fine. I'm getting more out of life. Manc Curry Mile at 1am was fantastic..the exuberant feel. Back in the hotel bar got into a disagreement with Belgian Man City fans which adds to the entertainment..we were all smiles afterwards. I'm the Federer of entertainment. During the day it was relentless serving at the bar -and I was getting off on it. If my friend Chris needs me I will help him. There is more to come. Keep coming up with new things.

I have now joined the gym after a couple of feelers and i'm excited about it; to give balance.

Made steaks with mint and chilli; green, divine. Venison meatballs; in chicken fat. Tear the meat off. Had a mussel and salmon chowder; ciao baby, chow down.

Bought spray carnations. Having a half day off Fri; for absolutely no reason. Well I do get two extra days off this year; for length of service..right back to the baseline baby.

In Manchester this weekend; maybe have another sabbatical from the pop-up beer fest circuit..as tastes change. Salford Quays are you ready for the motley crew? Float in.

Determined, drive

Silent Witness is quality, hard hitting, unflinching drama. The cycle continues and I pretty much die in it. Quite pleased with my reaction; got it from an actor on Spooks 11 years ago.
There may have been a tube strike but London Overground from South London/ Surrey to East London was fine. Went to 24hr Tesco after midnight.

Since Dec 21st solstice been to a gym local to work three times and already the biceps, triceps are bigger than they have been in years. Punishing and pain leads to growth. There are new muscles that I didn't know about. Try and impress new women. Cows not calves; Argentine steak. Air bnb landladies with big tits.

Jan 3rd: Had time off in December so felt refreshed at work. Let's kick ass. Finished work at 8.45pm; trying to come down. Need to claw back extraneous festivity spending; overtime from day one.

This is the year not to deal with the ex who has the intellectual reasoning of a 9 year old; 'you did that too'.. great answer.

Was intending to stay up on New Year's till 7am but 5am will do. New Year's Day- was awake at 9am; had a run yesterday and today. I enjoyed the rugby in Richmond; the movement, speed. But it was wet and cold. Was intending to leave Richmond at 4pm but Alistair wanted a mini pub crawl. Thankfully the trains to Clapham Junction are fast. I went for steak and eggs and it was a more human part of the day; 'me time' away from circuses. Was in bed at 8.30pm; a recovery from slightly 'hanging' feel. Watching Peter Pan Goes Wrong later reminded me of someone again. Lovely Charlie Russell in it.

Feel a lot better today and ready for the return to work tomorrow. Am overworked there but it's a lie we live with. Don't like it when people think they're reinventing the wheel; a task is a task. Tsk tsk. Lost in self importance. George Michael showed us how to live. He put Andrew Ridgley in the co credits for Careless Whisper so that he would never want for money; that is next level humanity.

Ready to be awesome; in the right platforms. We want to see eyes full of life, people doing things out of themselves, almost out of body. This is the year of no forced alliances, no inertia.
