Curveball

Mon went to the Fentiman Arms, Oval where we louched to the sounds of the Brand New Heavies. Then on to the Antelope which is open till midnight during the week.

Sun- Duxford bus show. There was a courtesy bus from Cambridge station; i was in nerd territory and lovin it. Kay met me in the visitor centre. Bus heaven..the old 251 to Arnos Grove, 22 to Dalston. The Bio bus uses 100% fuel renewable energy and has free wi-fi. There was an electric hybrid bus and a Routemaster N90. The Knight Bus could've added a fantastical touch. Through the rain we were hangar hopping.

Sat after a 12 hr catch up sleep went to the Hope; started the snowball that was me, Max, Dodge, his Mum Sue and Howie. As part of the Harvest LocAle fest i had Weltons Autumn Shades, Pilgrim's Vulcan Alia and Redemption's Urban Dusk. Hopefully Kay and John will come there for a talk by W.J King's new brewer Ian Burgess on Oct 13th and then the beer fest in Wallington starting the day after. Went to the Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes. The maximum score is 300; they show how to do a curveball. It was Dodge, Jul, Justin, Ross and myself.

Fri through the freedom of the common, train Balham to Olympia. A half at the Hilton's Plum Sports Lounge which is apt as the ex makes me feel like a plum. Then the Churchill Arms near Notting Hill which was an altogether more bustling affair. Jul and Just at the Queen's Arms. then Taio Cruz, Mark Ronson, N-Dubz and Pendulum at the Albert Hall.

Thurs night worked 8.45pm - 6.15am. Wed voluntary work for the Stockwell go-karting project. Enjoyed using the roller; therapeutic. Dropped in at Zeit, worked 8pm-6.30am. Saw Spider after 5 years; ex Citigroup. Worked Mon night and Sun night; was like a project. That Sunday had gone to Glassy Junction just near Southall station for Punjabi hospitality and two halves. Then a change for St Pauli; Hayes' Captain Morgan..nice memorabilia there. Ange turned up later.

Fri 17th night 12 hr shift; had to turn down boom operating work Fri morning; was at Holby 1-8pm on Thurs before going onto a 9-6am shift. Wed was 10 hrs, Tues 13.5. Also met a new client contact. Life can be a curveball.

We buffalo wings go round the outside, round the outside

Rooney jokes knocking around though he did score outside of a brothel tonight against Switzerland who beat the World Cup winners. England always look good qualifying. Cooked and cleaned for the ex, then cooked for the family..i enjoy it.

Want to go to the International Horse Show for a third time even if it's on my own but they've hiked the prices up. Might have to delay travel till Dec, or maybe not at all this year. Want to help Marat with the manual removals at his place; get stuck in.
Someone in the States; Buffalo, had 181 buffalo chicken wings in 12 mins..that's a staggering 15 a min.

Saw This is England 86; how does it compare with Ashes to Ashes? The camerawork is fantastic. The tv series format as opposed to a film is great. .even if i still love Meadows' 'Dead Man's Shoes'..Paddy Considine is brilliant in it and Toby Kebble is not far behind; they're both versatile.

A friend on Facebook put on Surface's 'Happy' which got me humming it all yesterday. So today i put on their equally superb 'Closer than friends'..both have memorable lyrics and emotional impact. A man who is happy in hope is not yet happy; like that.

I'm pretty good at mind games; people don't know that i'm actually making fun of them. Inspired ideas come while i'm in bed. I know that i am set up celestially by various elements crossing and meeting each other but i also purposefully set myself up to be in the firing line. Does getting at someone's low self esteem make me a cxxt? Tactical side. I'm not demanding but relaxed with a peaceful, loving vibe.

The new Strictly line up kills me; pretty and fit Gavin Henson, Paul Daniels! Scott Maslen, Jimi Mistry who does Hollywood! Shilts! Dr Pamela Stephenson, Ann Widdecombe! No Wonder hightrouser (Police Academy? ;-) Cowell's annoyed with the clash of scheduling.

wind down writing

Did a grand 10 hr night shift 8pm- 6am. Need to finance travel. Did feel nauseous 4am ish. Slept on bus back. This morning a builder in Crystal Palace was whistling the 'It's a Knockout' theme and it got lodged on my head. Jeux Sans Frontieres..Belgian women in their knickers.
Xmas Eve falls on a Fri, Xmas Day Sat and the same with New Year so should be good.
