Extended Tweet

Saw Swedish film'Let the right one in' last Mon on preview in Cineworld, Fulham. Had a strange, uneven tempo; is about vampires, liked it.

On Wednesday instead of seeing Liverpool's Champions League capitulation to Chelsea i saw Chicago; Roxy Hart, Billy Flynn. Nicely choreographed and jazzy, the two hours just flew by. I can see the formality of the Champs League return on Tues. Well you say that but Bolton gave them a scare.

Thursday went to a gallery to see Spanish artist Carmen Giraldez and her work again.
Saturday was Tranzmission at Alexander Palace. £4 for warm cans of beer as there were no fridges showed a scant regard for clubbers. But DJ Hype was exceptional. There was a Prodigy tribute band. We left at 5.30am.

This week going to the real Prodigy at Wembley Arena on Thurs. My mate said that if the support Dizzee Rascal isn't up to much he'll be at the bar. I've been listening to 'Narayan' and 'Ghost Town' ahead of the gig.

Friday going to a theatre drink up then seeing BT at the Gallery, Ministry of Sound. From there i'm going to Heathrow to catch a 8.30am flight to Jakarta, Indonesia. Couple of beers and i'll be conked out before the plane leaves Europe. Meeting a friend in Jakarta in time for Sunday lunch there. :)

Parallels

Exactly a year ago they showed Arsenal's Champions League quarter final at the Carling Academy, Islington. Outside on Upper Street my then girlfriend decided that she didn't want to see the match and that was the last i saw of her; i could tell by the look in her eyes.

Last night they showed Arsenal again. This time i wasn't invited as i am probably the Coldplay of Facebook. Grateful in a way as i have a bit coming up; seeing Chicago, going to a rave. Crowds change.

On Apr 13th last year i went to Vietnam. This year on Apr 18th i'm going to Indonesia. Someone i met in Halong Bay, Vietnam has got in touch, a year later. A cyclical route a year on.
