Sprinkle liberally

Sometimes you have to step outside of something and let it come to you. Cats respond to sideways glances; not full front on. Before i wanted to travel; now i don't feel like it. I want there to be a release of joyous emotion.

Sadly Boney M's Bobby Farrell passed on. 'Duck Sauce' will be played at New Year's parties. Before the band formed he would go to the bars in Germany and he would start off the dancing on his own; respect. Jona Lewie (in 1980, see not just Stop the Cavalry) and Ikea sing about the best parties being in kitchens.

Usman Khawaja; looking forward to seeing him..Muslim Australian. He's better than Ponting anyway. Eng have top sledgers; Trott was after Johnson, there's also Pietersen, Swann and Prior. Love the sprinkler dance.

'Strange Days' is a good end of year film,
Had fish n chips in little newspaper cones. Was looking at some old photos; wearing a conical bra in one.

Saw Lemony Snicket; is life a Series of Unfortunate Events? It's darkly comic and curious with masonic eyes, snakes, allusions to secret societies and general trippiness.

I want to hold my wife and kids in my arms; people know i'm loving. Life'll be beautiful, you got to have courage.

Amalgam

Don't believe anymore. I've lost my best friend yet my heart tells me otherwise. I fell in love, i want to love you as my wife, i picture our wedding..you in a dress, us smiling. Share my life with you, i miss your soul. I'm not a perfect person, i have waited my whole life for you. It's from the heart. This is our life and our time; our kids that look like you, reading them bedtime stories.
Let me heal the pain, we're drifting safely back to shore.

Chrimbo Day 10

On Crimble Totp 2 Marc Radcliffe said Natalie Cole was the daughter of ex footballer Andy Cole; very silly, i like.

On Srictly John Barrowman said 'i was born to entertain' sounds like my credo. I want some reindeer pate; 'Arctic delicacy, relative of Rudolph'. Burn off the Xmas excess with..excess, or as we call it partying.

It's a cracker 'what did the shy stone say? I wish i was a little boulder' It's Jimmy Tarbuck material well into the next decade.

Eng bowled Aus out for 98; so far so good..it's been their series and mustn't allow it to be nicked in the last match.

Holed

Me and my mate Julian were going to do a Prison Break on the other Julian- Assange and take him to Friday's hog roast at the County Arms next to Wandsworth nick where he was holed up. No petting in the shallow end. I'm the fifth horseman; hell which is beyond death.
Liked the return of the snow; the wellingtons back out and eating Beef Wellington.

Lost in action

Went to the Horse Show in Olympia; sterling stuff even without Ukrainian cassocks.. hope to go back next year. I asked Ruth about an ex and she said ''we've lost her to moutaineering'' or caving; compulsive characters..you can't make it up..what an amazing decade. Despite difficult and demanding i still would've loved. Don't want to push away..my luck; i'll take responsibility. These are the challenges i enjoy. I knew a touch of self destruction, i know atonement, i know reinvention.

Camra Xmas dinner Tues night, 16 of us; the wild boar terrine was gorge. On the way i'd gone to the Filipino place for a beer and a song; they know me. I was after the Carpenters 'Merry Christmas Darling'. After the Leather Bottle i suggested after hours in Tooting Broadway; went to the Tram Social.

Mon saw the slightly dire Man U v Arsl; which the 3d wasn't able to save. From Blithe Spirit to Auntie Beeb to the Bedford where we sat in front of a real fire.

Sat my first high speed train St Pancras to Canterbury West. We fairly raced through the pubs; had a good kitty going. I had my first snowball; eggy and bubbly, prefer it since without lime; things just snowball. Eating is cheating so before re-embarking on the HST i bought chips ie stodge. When i asked for just salt it was more like 'do you want chips with your salt?' Jobor the Bengali word for copious.
Do no 2 was in Farringdon just up the road from St Pancras; the tv supporting artists. There's a regular nucleus of us plus first timers in quite a compact place so you need to back out sometimes.
Last stop on this day of reunions was a school one. On till 3am but 2 was fine. In the street saw kids out in prams with their partying parents; sounds good.

Forthcoming is a hog roast, another s.a's do, potentially Chez Bruce and snow.

England doing well in the cricket; retain the Ashes before Christmas?

Brave heart

Wildness in the soul, spirit in the blood, a touch of madness..i saw Braveheart; the Irish guy who said Ireland is 'my island'. A spark can get things done. After pain you can muster the loudest voice..sometimes action is better than tears, than being on the back foot. I read the following online 'I loved it, and then i set it free. And now i will hunt it down and kill it.' A brave heart wins a fair lady.

Love Kevin Pietersen giving Aus a psycholgical going over; setting things up. He went away and worked hard; reprogrammed his mind. Self improvement is great to do.

Bengal freeLancer

My Sat night carried into Sunday; got back just before Match of the Day at 7.30am. Then slept 9am till lunchtime. I could've gone to Camden Munch but opted for hibernation.

Sat morning went to a bloggers showcase in the Empire, Leicester Square. A whole lot of trailers incl the bizarre premise of Cowboys and Aliens, Gnomeo and Juliet. We had all of The Next Three Days with Russell Crowe and a terrific performance by Lennie James as a sourfaced cop. After lunch it was..Tron 3d; four projectors for only the third time after Avatar and Narnia. Exciting film; we had an embargo not to write about it till 10pm Sun night. The director Joseph Kosinski was there. After the film there was a q&a on piracy with Nick Moran.
Me and Colin had a few jars after; we both like writing and real ales.
Dropped into the Crown; caught up with lovely Doug, i had a half of Bengal Lancer. Then upstairs at the Compass for Olinda's 40th. I dropped into the Lexington after at 3.30am.

Fri was at the Pigs Ear fest with Scott and Rob. Helen T, Kat there. Friendly punters; fest open till midnight which was great.

Thurs saw Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit which was an enjoyable directorial debut by Emily.

Wed comedy in Shoreditch. Got pulled up for my heckle 'tell us some jokes'..i thought it was an interactive, two way process..it helped the hapless chap and he did fire out some jokes. Comics are protected but the punter is not.

Mon went well at the Nightingale for the Camra committee meeting; quality pub. The Eagle briefly after.
