One of the days at work was 15 hrs; it's a crazy project but love it for that. Was a stand-in. Game face; on.
Interspersed with Glasto gorge; Metronomy, Metallica, Arcade Fire, Robert Plant, Manics, Lauren Leverne presenting. In the World Cup there's James from Colombia with his dancing. Don't criticise my ideals. There could've been some post Pride meetup but i didn't want to hang around.

So back to Thurs; did 9 and a Bit Hrs on set on the Essex/ Herts border, scuttled down to Victoria for the fiasco that was Eng's lamentable showing v Uruguay. You know, it wasn't even that busy; people knew. Still it was a chance to catch up with Smiffy and Bud. After 11 boarded the overnighter to Aberdeen, which got less busy after Glasgow so moved from the back of the upper deck to a table downstairs. I should've gone to Cosmo for sushi etc instead of chicken, chips and cheese the 3 ch's. Liked the harbour and then went to Aberdeen Art Gallery. I felt you and i knew that you loved me- that's Tracey Emin. There was a David Bailey and Damien Hurst collab Jesus is Condemned to Die. Saw Julian Opie's Sara walking-Sparkly Top and Jeans.
The menace of Peter Howson's Serb and Muslim. Alan Davie's Playing Card Adventure covers Indian, Aboriginal and Venezuelan art. Eric Auld- Harbour City is a local depiction. Peploe- Iona, Grey Day and Sovenir. Hepworth- Meditation. Wood did Cornish Fishermen St Ives. There were wistful works and thoroughly loved the display.
Checked into Hilton Garden Inn and had a workout at the gym; overdone it with the triceps. Coffee and tea in the room.
Sat morning we did a jolly decent walk from City Centre to the exhibition centre. Idlewild were the highlight musically.
Mon evening hung out East Dulwich, Peckham way. Working in Cambridgeshire tomorrow so up early doors. Cheese festival Sun yum.

Slightly arduous road trip from Aberdeen; where's the air con when you need it? I had to glug Coke from an M6 service station. It got dark after 10pm in Glasgow. They'll be having the Commonwealth Games there soon; offering battered Mars bars to the world. You can have other arterial delights like chips, cheese and donner.

Nice picnic in the park.
Early start later today. Cricket at Lords on Mon was good.

The a.d on set today said 'This is your chance to shine'- what a boost, i did it for him.
Nice walk from Tooting to Clapham Common Sat.

Maybe i overdid it yesterday. The swim in the lido was super; the sun and the air..the rush of endophins. A bit of exercise before the end of August. At FoodCycle was on my feet the whole time but was rewarding for overcoming compulsiveness and for making a difference with people. Customers are an extension of myself.
Schooners at the Long Room; not too big, not too small. Not plastered in Plaistow; some Essex stuff there. Changed into my beach shorts and we went for a Full Moon run; it's a social running club or hashing. There's clubs in Dhaka, Angeles in Philippines and Ghana. Wherever people are they can find a chapter to run with so there were some present from Adelaide, Wisconsin, Milton Keynes. There were roleplays along the run; reenactments of historic murders and i was picked out as a girl of disrepute for my long hair. Afterwards there was sarnies, me and another put fries inside our ones. I was surprised when Hol had scored twice v Spa; it went on to get better..Saw the end of Chile v Aus later. The World Cup wines and coffees; Merlot won last night, Costa Rica and Italy on today..it's a drinking game, everytime there score a goal you take a shot.

Been going to bed at sundown but 10.45pm will do after the start of the World Cup. Doing FoodCycle tomorrow, may go for a run. Working Sun after the novelty of a match at 2am; Ivory Coast v Japan.
Actually this is Lido weather.

Gardening, sunstroke, dauphinoise potatoes. A bit achy from yesterday's film action scene bootcamp but not unpleasantly so.
Create trends. The right actions create good luck, and the opposite also. The other side of excess, is freedom.
I like how Rik Mayall's manicness was in contrast to him being a doting family man who liked doing the washing up; so it was the best of both worlds, we got to see the exuberant side while outside of that you don't have to play up to that side, character.
It's alright to fail at something you didn't want to do in the first place; you may see it as your bread and butter but the Universe may want you to recalibrate a little bit higher; so why not take a chance with something that you love.

Everybody's dying; not everybody's dying to meet you. Rik Mayall; scared to live now.
I like the cooling towers at East Midlands Parkway station. And the Museum in Sheffield.

Finally saw Julie in work action; i was just near in Bank and my lunch hour was midday-1pm. Needed that as the afternoon went smoothly. Nice after work walk from Moorgate to Whitechapel. Had to stop at Nanna Biriyani for a taste of Old Dhaka; when i was inside i remembered my Mum saying that the place was good and bought a takeout. While waiting enjoyed some trance in the form of Tiesto; suits any surpressed sides of Bengalis. Back on the London Overground, a mini stop in the park to catch the evening sun and sky.
Got to have an intensity at work. Tell me now, ask me first..London doesn't stop for a second. Believe in life.
When you are good to yourself, nice things happen. Don't thank me now.

On Mon in new Late Knights, Crofton Park someone said 'i done a poo'; she was 2 years old and on the Kaliber. The venue set up, feel is fantastic. Yager in St Pauls is where the Square Mile dealmakers go; different to Wetherspoons where punters eye up that last bit of egg on your Mixed Grill. You walk over Millennium Bridge, past Tate Modern and down to Southwark.

Simple things; nearly missed the connecting train from East Croydon cos of train pfaffing. Was charging my phone in first class while i sat outside it. Hove is just three stops from East Cro. Sat briefly at the beach; the unbroken view counter from Bank cityscape; the air clears the head. Crossed paths with a seagull on the pavement near Hove station. An open top bus past the coastline, down the A road, in the woods. Hippies Are Us down the farm; kids in bare feet, tractors, hens. My companions there are in their late 70s but still full of vim. Shared Cheddars ale snacks. Spices and splices; cardamom, organic Bulgarian rosewater, palm spices, coriander and Indian jaggery. There was storytelling, performance poetry. Back in by 8pm; didn't see the Froch Groves fight. Froch proposed to his nice looking fiance in the ring with a ring; you have to fight to win the right woman over.
Gambhir's arrogance will catch up with him today as Kings 11 (sounds like a film; Maxwell can be George Clooney) who regularly score 200+ will administer a frightful ass kicking on Gautam downtown. If Sehwag doesn't get you, Miller will, if he doesn't Bailey will.
