Any xmas bird addledness was allayed by a couple of hours work; so the ring rust wasn't too bad. This is quite a long weekend from the evening of Christmas Eve onwards. Was doing fine until this afternoon when a headache hit. In between watching Mary Poppins you think about career and life directions; acting roles, social media, writing.

Saw the well crafted Ghost Town; released, find the light, find the way home..there's a reason why we're still here. Tea Leoni strikes emotional and beautiful chords.

Phoenix have done a cover of a lost Beach Boys Christmas song from 1979 which was never released 'Alone on Christmas Day' so in the video when Bill Murray says 'play something that we've never heard of' he's right.

Just booked a trip to Leeds in the 2016 mood.

Done the Xmas washing up, had a demi tasse of coffee.
Went to my friend's last night; weird with no transport and closed shops. Though you can get fried chicken; why would you have that on Christmas Day? 2005 port is better; listening to the E-Street band..Clarence Clemons. The 70s was a hotbed for music; the variety, the ground breaking experimental quality of Kraftwerk..punk, disco.
Smoked salmon for breakfast. I cooked for four; goose doesn't take long when you defrost for a while..there was fat ladling. Did petit pois, slow cooked giblets stew with cinnamon. Gave the bird shape with wild sage and onion stuffing. Thick gravy, yorkies, windy Brussels, parsnippys, crispy potatoes, glazed carrots. Then xmas pud with Barolo, stilton which all led to dropping off during Doctor Who though Alex Kingston in a glittery dress was a pleasant distraction. We added sparkle and panache to proceedings. A few Christmas surprises on the day.
Leftover sandwich today. Goats cheese quiche.

We worked 8-12.30 today and got a lot done; a concentrated effort. There was a Christmas gift from one of the suppliers. The trains were busy on the way back; people getting home for Christmas. In Europe Christmas Eve is a celebration, feast; I done kippers, squid and prawns. A nut roast sounds good.
The darts last night was awesome; Lewis, Klassen..the atmosphere was something else.

Quiet day Wed.
Lovely birthday dinner with my sister.
Saw 'I Give It A Year' which isn't bad; Rafe Spall. 'I never found anyone better' like it. The ubiquitous Holiday, Happy Holidays, is ok.

Back to Tues; after a hearty breakfast-I forgot the choc spread-there was sitting around, lunch, one short scene and we were wrapped 2.30 as opposed to 6pm. Dec is about seeing friends you see maybe once a year so it was special and I am blessed. Like Thurs night in Farringdon it was almost surreal; you hear things that resonate. Show more confidence.
There's a screening of Star Wars for the starring sa's.. and anyone else; I think this is their moment,it's for them.
Sat should be good :) Keep growing.

Here Comes the RedSnapper

Was up yesterday 5.30am. Eschewed a burger lunch and catchup (not ketchup) on a day off to do a last minute filming job. It was near an aquatic centre. I know there'll be opportunities in life. Make it eclectic, intriguing.

Filming on a day off tomorrow.
Underhandedness; I've let the past get between stalwarts. It's fine; I have plenty going for me. Step  up the oxygen. A shift away from the people who think they're more important.

This morning got up at a reasonable hour. Took a bus straight to Clapham Common with carton of soya milk. Was able to register for London's inaugural Santa Dash; a cavalcade of red. I had to go for the challenge. Went at a pace that I was happy with. Next time i'll train more; got to prepare like champions. The buzz is a clean hit; energises you for the rest of the day. People egging you on from the sides is an equal buzz.. coming in at the finish was something that won't leave me; can't wait for another run. Loved the medal; we want tangible accomplishments. Followed that up with walking to Vauxhall; stopped at the Vauxhall Griffin..great décor. Then the Urban Farm. Bought things for the local food bank. St Pauli won. Stodge, fast train to work. 3 hrs would do me. I like people travelling on a Sunday with wheelie cases. Saw some of the snooker, caught up with Thurs' Masterchef.
