The running's getting better; did over 10k last night and contemplating a 20k one..the new trainers help.
The Overground from Shoreditch last night was diverted to Battersea Park so was able to get in a St Patricks Jameson; wasn't travelling back till 9.30am today. Ghanian export Guinness earlier.
Mansfield have the Monday night Sky match v Lincoln so the social members club looking forward to that.

Last Tuesday had a lovely meal with American friends at Rules established 1798 and specialising in traditional English dishes especially game. Opted for the short rib of veal which is generally fatty; they do Guinness in pewters but i had a breakfast Negroni. Lovely setting; got my eye on the steak and kidney suet pudding.

Wednesday did hill training, Thursday went to Leicester which looks a little bit grotty. They had lavender mead at a festival which had to die for lamb seekh, went to the gym there. Then  new Brewdog in Paddington Basin had a preview; the co working  space looks good. It's nearer to Edgware Road tube; on to a memorial at the Harp, wood barrel beer and talking politics till midnight.

Fri night shift was fine; had the most gorgeous Bird chicken n waffles; KFC this is not..the taste of the meat, the crunch, skin. Night tube so helps shift workers; Jubilee and Northern lines.

Sat; having slept 3.15am-8.15am did a Parkrun in muddy conditions; i'm not a jock runner, i'm the peoples runner..went from the previous 26:14 to 25:13. Worked at Twickenham for 10 hrs; i like the slammed madness.

Sun chilled till 4pm-ish. Mon afternoon cook a bit. Quiet tomorrow but then should be a lively week.

Trying to keep fit, eat healthy. Veg, fish, proteins.
Good to see the guys who stay at the shelter. Monday night is members club night after a pacey run; Sheffield derby was on. I listen to country music since i moved here.
Sheffield on Sat was a corker. A run, a 14 inch chicken wings pizza, great venues.
Not doing coach at the moment; taste for train; chavs were doing my head in.
