meat feast

Prior to my trip to Germany i was on a careful regime of cauliflower grills etc in preparation for the multitude of meats that awaited. Meat knuckles, currywurst, schnitzels and braised ox cheek went down a treat in Berlin. We also went to Poland but the quest for Polish sausage, so divine at Battersea Beer Fest, was not a successful one. Still i came back full of sausage and Jagermeister; i'd become a schnitzel.

C U Now Tuesday

But which one's better? The Angel of the North or the Angel of the South? There's only one way to find out..fight! As my Twitter update goes. Putting Ebbsfleet on the map.

Facebook being fuddie duddies; around 7pm there was a group 'I want to bang Kelly Sotherton'; i mulled over whether i had a good reputation, decided i didn't..half hour later the group's gone. But i gave her my vehement support over that Chlamydia Blonska.

The public clawhammer violence on Moses Jones; still checking my teeth..

Was invited out tonight but cigarillos and ale ie 13% Belgian rocket fuel, which leaves you hungover when you get up the next day, hit my 'diplomatic immunity' system so no go pedro. I'll have an ale at the BBC studios tomorrow.

Saw a looker on a Mazaa aa Gaya song on Zee Music. Tonight CSI Miami and No Heroics will do me.

Who's the next Chelsea 'caretaker' manager? He'll be given 13 games to win the League. Ince, Adams weren't given even half a season with their employers. Fergie's right; it's symptomatic of the lack of patience in the world today.

Saw Katy Perry's vid for Hot n' Cold. Her the marrying kind? Yeah right, she should hang out with me. (Is she married?) There are a few that blow hot and cold (careful) in my geomagnetic remit.

I love going to Longcross an old Ministry of Defence site; 'bikini alert'. Only a few trains go there in the day; previously they wouldn't mention it on the train p.a, you had to know about it. And you need a code to get out of the station; yeh it's a turnstile, obviously 6969 is easy to remember 'but it's not right'. Supporting artistes are entertained by the Longcross cat and fussball. Got a lift on way back; M3, A308 through Hampton, A3 and then Parkside, Wimbledon.

My Johnathan Ross style joke i've been texting round is 'weatherman said the temperature is going to drop really low tonight and everyone should check on elderly friends; are you ok?' Hasn't been too well received.. ;-)

So it's true bankers are wankers, after the HBOS apology today. No more Brucie bonuses for them..

Siberian weather front

I wanted more snow last night; 12 feet of it so you can't open your front door, i wanted ice road truckers. I'd gone out in wellies and Hunter liners and crunched through the snow; yup 2nd Feb was an unofficial Bank Holiday for many. I find the snow enchanting like in Edward Scissorhands when Wynona's old and reminisces to when she was young and playing in the snow. The snow was swirling in my face. Some people have not experienced this; saw a Pakistani guy in a shirt and tie taking it in. My mate took a snap of Piccadilly Circus; neon in the snow. Red buses and bus stop signs covered in the sherbet dib dab. Now we've got a big old melt, and i don't want to be slipping over like Todd Carty. I've slipped before and landed on my head can't you tell?

I saw Persepolis which was poignant; Marjane seeing her smiling grandmother for the last time..the price you pay for freedom. Now to read the book by Satrapi. Also saw Hotel Rwanda for the first time; an African Schindler's List. Cheerful soul am i not?
There was a grittiness in Moses Jones, set in London's Ugandan community to an African rhythm; a sordid energy..exemplified in the public convenience scene.
