Was in town last night for a birthday and good it was too; sets you up for the week. Nice to be somewhere where it's not Fri or Sat night rammed; and the staff were on smiling form. Rockaoke at Roadhouse would've been fine but i left at the right time; Kate did Teenage Dirtbag.
Enjoyed working Sunday.

Bought some shoes yesterday, had strong filter coffee out. Dropped into FoodCycle, did some sugar soaping. Took ages to get to Hackney Wick; for some reason i wanted to avoid zone 1. The graffiti there's brilliant; next level cutting edge. And you got the Lea Valley canal; total tranquil. Most of London's bearded up and it won't take long to go on to Movember.
Working this morning; the joys of a bus replacement to get there.

Primed to see Maroon 5 as part of a tv audience from the gift that keeps giving; any one of their songs will do..the sadness and missed opportunity of Payphone, the funky outright melody of Makes Me Wonder.
If you can excel at work straight away then you can do 5,6 tasks at the same time. The project gets done on time and quicker. There's mentoring, being combative. Early starts..new stratospheres.
Loved London Photo Festival private viewing last week.
Won an extreme cabbage eating contest; there were German songs full of fervour as preamble.
Was invited to a band's afterparty.

Oct 6th Bromley was good; the atmosphere, personnel.
Oct 8th Went into work for 2 hrs, then did Enders short and sweet 5.5 hrs before going to Bedford as it was relatively near and homage to the summer's spectacular filming. All these forward going axes does meet the past. But i'm better and brighter now.

Oct 16th Thurs. A leaving do; hadn't seen Becs in  7 years but we've kept in touch and was introduced as the best print finisher in 15 years. It's all about focus and grit.

It's eid today; food. Mary had a little lamb, and now she doesn't. Themes of sacrifice; what have we had to sacrifice in our lives? Lost eras, generations like in Rabbitproof Fence. We're salvaging what we can :-) Today is the day when ideals clash. Chaos v order.
