storyboard

Setting: Here is a sense of drama; almost menace. A moody sky. In a central place where different things happen; Trafalgar Square.. though the black and white photo could be an Eastern Europe location.

Character: Best thing that could happen to him- eventual redemption.
Worst thing- sliding into obscurity.
He is a fighter, a kitchen sink drama character from the 50s. Inner conflicts- some turmoil bubbling beneath that could surface and bubble over. He looks neutral in fitting with the setting. His wiry frame makes him primed for fight or flight, can disappear into the shadows. He looks half English/ half Oriental; let's call him Ray. Time is now, you are now.

Opening salvo: Ray stood out on his balcony; coffee and croissant in hand. He contemplated the day ahead, looking over the horizon, the sky suitably moody. He licked a finger and held it up. The breeze carried the message he was looking for 'I'm up for it. I feel it in the air'. Dressed in white he would go there not quite with the zeal of an old firm hooligan but that of an elusive protagonist..ready to slip into the shadows afterwards. Look at him; his sinewy frame primes him for flight or flight, his gaze readied.

Encourage

Turn things round from a losing situation to an epic win. See and think differently like Shane Warne. Key moments of magic; part of the aura. The results will be different from before. The year is still early and it can be a good one.

Smarts

Got to have courage; go for it and see what happens. And that's the leap. Takes the place of hesitation. You'll be respected for it. Striving for some kind of better. We are tried and forged in the fire of life. Deep down within us is a fount of wisdom. Something inside takes you to places, you open your mouth and words speak for themselves; it's a blur of light. Flowstates. Have street smartness.
Harmonising the creative and analytical sides of the brain.

. . .

The post New Year hibernation going well; the coldest of turkeys with alcohol addling. No destructomatics on this shift. There are some good events forthcoming ranging from a 30th birthday to a 60th, a writing workshop, a meditation, Brighton, a reunion with North and Norwegian.

The Auz bowlers chucking pies, with ketchup on. Some of the full tosses are just hit; no need to control it or run for those.

Sometimes things are offered then taken away; the carat of enticement.

Saw Zen with the stellar Rufus Sewell and the sumptuous setting of Italy; nice denouement to the first episode.
