Nice intensity level yesterday after the weekend Cardiff supercharge. Went to the monthly Forest Hill night last night; laughs, loudness. Was probably too pumped for Sat; rein it in a bit.
A hot, sexy Halloween. And would like to give some Haribos to kids but likely to watch Chelsea Champions League with John.
Meat is round the corner. Byron Cheesemas burger..comes with a jug of cheese. And another jug please to pour on me. There's going to be a poutine pop up Canadian style; that's chips, cheese, laden with beef. And i'll have to run off this cheese explosion.

Counting down to Cardiff tomorrow; it's going to be amazing..the atmosphere. I arrive at midday, see the castle.

Slept 11.30pm-3.30am, a bit insomnia style. Was cooking at 4.30am as you do. The bus to the gym took an age. Good workout; 100kg on leg press and calf press, then used a grapefruit gel from Lush.

Some Halloween tonight; going to Le Gothique, i have a mask to wear. Like it when good paths cross; met the organiser at a run last week, we were talking about tonight and getting excited. Seeing lively Mike tonight.

Crazy, beautiful weekend. Sat night up till 3.30am. Sun was different; sometimes i'm somewhere midday, but not today. There's things to be said for top chilling. It turns to boredom, and then new,inspired ideas. New people.

There is palm fat/oil in lots of things; all supermarkets use it which is disheartening and more so for the animals involved.

As my shift starts later in the morning i was able to cook cod parcels and diced chicken. Had beans on toast; life can give you comfort.
Been going to a group where the people have compulsive behaviours; and someone bought a drink to the table..that is not allowed. Anyway one or two there had pained expressions; marginalised. It's symbiotic; help each other out.

So nice to be in quiet places last night when's there a lot of noise in life.

Morning was fine; then in the afternoon bad mood at work for no specific reason. Then 35 mins to get from Waddon to East Croydon; exacerbating the base bad mood. Three pages of A4 for a meeting's minutes? There's lots of things I want to do but you're tired. Rob was down in town from Toon so that was nice.
If you can't deliver me something as long as you make it up the next time that's fine. No judging. A confident person doesn't listen to bullshit because they know when that is untrue. People get bad karma for being nasty.
Sun morning I got to work 45 mins early. Worked like a Trojan. Me and old timer Oli got on great so i'll be at the next City Run in Fulham in March. Done at midday; nice walk from Shoreditch Park to back of Brick Lane through Arnold Circus with its social history. A bonus invite to Shoreditch High St but I got to see super runner Lauren again. Takeout from Cereal Killer; my forlorn team is Crystal Palace but Crystal Pepsi nice.
Shoreditch High St to North Greenwich doesn't take any time. Just play me some oompah music at Oktoberfest there; not Whitney Houston. Women in dirndls :-)

A face in the crowd

I don't really like hanging out with people who stare at their phones, have no political views but the attention of a newt.

Work days are not the same; today I was able to leave an hour earlier. My run tonight was ok; there are more to do.

Thurs a venue opening night in Paddington Basin, some reggae Fri night, Sat a leaving do and an expat from Spain visiting.

Sun is my early shift; 6 hours be done just before 1pm. I'll be welcoming runners at the inaugural City 10k and should be giving out medals in the Seb Coe way. Quick drop in to the beermoth Oktoberfest at the o2. Mon take minutes at a meeting, Tues a run with a headtorch.

Zero sympathy with those who floundered with judgments. You know who can be re-educated. I'll keep plugging away at life; live quietly. If people have asked me not to do something I won't because I didn't like it done to me. Not full of poison. Just move on. Lots of possibilities. No time for indecision.

And I come back from a glorious night to hear Tom Petty died; could not believe it. I felt so comfortable with his music, look; he was the light. Didn't make any jokes today.
Things are working out well but i'll process that tomorrow.
I get no praise at work. The boss goes to her favourites.
Some so called friends have abused my trust. I know who respects me.

Not long term; I knew there were reasons not to go yesterday. I'm not told these things; I have good hunches. Far better to go to the American Bar at the Savoy on a Mon night; exciting, different. I will accompany others' journeys.

Am I joking or am I being plaintive? You can decide. Some people disrespect me, some play games. Sometimes you don't make where you were thinking and maybe it's for a reason which transpires in the longer term. You are your own distraction. The Universe will facilitate your journey or hold you back accordingly. It's October today 'time keeps on slipping' as Steely Dan says. 'Summer has come and gone'.
