Lip service

'What's left to be said and done? Can look back to the happiness and laughter.' Sadly in life sometimes the wrong one slips in and the repercussions are felt widely; the darkness is extended longer. Lip service is not enough; action is needed. Some people just don't get the message. We discover our truth. Some things cannot be justified; this is not the time to make a joke of it though i will always listen to your viewpoint. Certain things are in good hands before you move on; 'I've made my mark'. We want perfect endings to our scripts as we are written out of life. When i said to my dad that i did want to marry someone his answer was 'You'll repent'. Not wanting your son to be in love is the most cardinal of sins. It's jealousy. One of my favourite highlights of the year was when i said to an ex 'sorry about your dad's passing' and being told to bugger off. That's why 'Love Actually' tonight fed the romantic and dreamer in me. The Dryathlon starting 9am New Year's Day is a very good thing as 'i've seen what booze does to judgements'..it's time to be responsible as excess catches up in an ugly way. When we know we should be punished there is probably no ideal way to do it; decorum and dignity go out of the window..sometimes it's too late to come back.

Christmas post

Seek your heart's duet. For me on Boxing Day the year ended and it feels like 2013; that's 13 years since 2000..savour the precious. Cherry pick from the past and merge with the best of today and an eye on things before they happen. With some people you can be a Christmas/ New Year special like the Royle Family; till next year. If you've had a thinking Christmas then the things you want to change have already been implemented. Facebook has re-entered one of its funny phases; if some people put 10 statuses a day with the same licky licky bum bum clique putting 'like' and closing ranks, then it's time to give it a distance respectful to yourself and others..or that right hand column on your page will leave you frazzled and scared to go on FB. People are capriciously bullshit; hankering after what they can't get. Here's a rallying call to normal people; we need good influences round us- your tenure starts the 27th. There was some forgiveness in evidence Christmas Day but not as much as you'd think. Derek the fat cunt from Eastenders was like someone i knew and mentioned before in blogs/notes. Playing havoc with others' lives and feeling justified in doing so. Such characters' anger and delusion will kill them. Everyone gets their karma; good and bad.

Iguana

In Curacao you can eat iguana; it's an elusive place that does it and it tastes like rabbit. Curacao is dried orange peel so the iguana might taste good with it. The place is the Southernmost Carribean country.

Reinventing the we'll

You get back what you give out; and i'm getting back. Life is full of mirrors and manifestations of how we're feeling. We may not like things in others because subconsciously we may do it ourselves. I know i've been had.

Bullies can't take it when you give some back. They lie because they feel it gives them control over you. People are competitive because they're insecure; they know you're better than them. I bring some of the old empire together through their lack of social skills while i'm locked out of heaven. I know it's an assault on the census but mixed race is up; reinventing the we'll..we'll go together, as one. Joined-up thinking; no disconnect.

Risks are what make you win; it's a mindset. Balance and control give you the clearest head; an inbuilt stepping up of attack through the gears. We'll be more fault free. Let's be part of history and rewrite it. Be and do the best ever. There are timeshifts; i'm now going to see Orbital thanks to a friend from 2006. They played in Sept 09 when a lot of things happened and started changing. Forged from the fire of life. How's your journey? For 3 recent events i wasn't invited to another door opens so serenity's up. Recover and return to the fray renewed.

At our lobby on Wed we had MP's Greg Mulholland and Hazel Blears bigging up the cause. In certain scenarios not everyone wants you there but you can embrace and enjoy that and even play up to it. Ali G made fun of Sacha Baron Cohen; when you send yourself up you can subtly make fun of others without them necessarily realising. The Go Compare ads are self deprecating. Be ahead of the backlash. Engineer your own out, and go out in style.

'Send something back'

Fri after various hospital matters met up with a friend down from Norwich. Sat went to Three Wine Men at Lords; had a press pass. Then to Hackney, from there to Bromley for a Christmas do.

Sun went to Brewdog's shareholders meeting where you get a sense of bonhomie, team togetherness. It was smiley; Diageo's dirty tricks are distasteful..New Year all night public transport's on them. Yup i liked the evangelical, calm vision and ambition. From there to an art show in Soho; love public presenting, at Lords Oz Clark was standing on a box. Saw Elleane who exuded gentle energy.

Mon night went on the new London Overground; Clapham Junction to Denmark Hill in 13 mins. Had a Christmas dinner there; salmon was nice. We had some sourz. Last night (Tues) declined an invite to Clapham Junction; saw the Dark Knight Rises. Bain (Tom Hardy) got in trouble because he loved Miranda. Stretched out tumult. Some people think they're necessary evils. Your soul will stand up to torture. Make fate belong to you; surprise life and others with a comeback.

Turn pressure into miracles. Tomorrow (Wed and 12.12.12) i pitch my local MP about the beer tax escalator; it'll be Sadiq Khan in Parliament..can anyone else see a photo opportunity? There's a works do tomorrow night; you provide the libation, i'll provide the anecdotes. There may be unexpected journeys. 48 frames per second as opposed to the 85 year old 24 frames; some people are simply not receptive to change. Shit.

Diary catchup

The slightly mad week started in sedate fashion with some filming in Sittingbourne on Mon. Fully loaded with warm layers we confronted riot police and i got some kicks in; i goaded the fellow aggressives..some of the cops were ex-military so they held back.

Tues the tide turned a bit. Did a stint at an Australian investment bank; in the afternoon the law firm i work for requested me for the next day..a flattering tug of war followed 'We want him too'. After 6pm went onto Pigs Ear fest; serving punters relaxes. It's one of the best fests. The law firm isn't far from the fest and i stayed overnight in the chapel as planned in front of a big blowy heater.

Wed morning i came out to snow and ran for the bus. The fest has form for snow; sadly this time it was a dusting rather than the more photogenic settling affair. Worked without a break from 8am to after 5 before contractors Christmas-do time in Village East. Things moved nicely with sausage, and rocket to graze on. The ubiquitous questions asked at do's this time of year are 'How are you spending Christmas?' You find out about colleagues sexual proclivities..From works do back to Hackney where the atmosphere was truly festival, staffing officers were smiley. Bedside ale..

Thurs did a 10 hr thrash at work as the net turned blue with Stuart Hall jokes. Went to a local Crimbo do where there was.. sausage; me and Mark's hopes for a Saffer style braai meat blowout were a touch dashed. The chicken had an indeterminate quality to it; we wore paper party hats and recalled It's a Knockout. Graveney and Meadow down Tooting Broadway provided post 11pm action. The day didn't stop there as i boarded the last tube to get back to the office. Me and a drunk Pole, does this phenomenon exist?, were sniping on the tube 'You're big man aren't you?' he came out with. There were a few revellers in town. I worked 12.30am- 3.30am; thought it might be till after 7am but the workload wasn't too bad. My Lancastrian friend had said earlier that London offers this fast moving possibility. England doing well in the cricket amidst allegations of Indian disinterest.

Fri-Sat

Finished work hour and a half early; great team effort..galvanising each other.
We checked out Graveney and Meadow in Tooting; normal Antic..£5 a beer, shoe horns on the wall. And typical Tooting juxtapositioning; a world of quirky poshness nestled next to the unpretentious readiness of Maccas. Burger King had Friesday; free fries which went down well with King of the Day for £1.99. The variety of life; you can enjoy the sea urchins, pollock mousse, snails and beef from Masterchef this week.
Don't sell me a line with your flakiness; i do have perceptiveness. Indulge the fickle. Epic end to Movember with some fine taches.
Palace beat Brighton to return to the summit, Swansea won at untouchable Wenger's; the complete opposite to Chelsea. Tuilagi shone for England and i loved Ashton's swandive. Time for Strictly.
