Our hospitality work is not a job it's a lifestyle both pulling and pushing us. Didn't go for the easy option today; use your reserves..add little touches. Was hoping to do some out of town work on the weekends but we may be in Lockdown.

Our 9pm indoors bubble party going nice. Furlough ends Saturday so the company accounts guy seeking clarification as to the way forward. Was able to spend more time at the soup kitchen Friday. As I was walking back from shift it was a complete desolate ghost town; more police than people. The bars that are open are so bad you shithouse them by saying you'll just have the food.

I got the job i hustled for; the runners at the 10k like me but the personnel; it's closed cliques, I don't know anyone else there. 'Our next job's in February' i might have to eat before then. It was a pleasant hour's walk into Loughborough after work. Earlier sunset today; peace indoors.

Yesterday went to the gym before work; the Sat night shift was busy, more so than Friday. I got the last train after 11pm to Loughborough. Spent the night in a place called Shepshed; stayed up an hour chilling. The 6.5 hrs sleep went quickly. A cab for 7am and was able to start shift earlier. Crunchy peanut butter protein bars for them; some of the runners were at Bedford last Sun. Soup kitchen on Fri so it was the perfect weekend. Back to back favourable Airbnb reviews; cheers guys.

I knew Leicester would win at Arsenal. Enjoyed being in the East Midlands.

Our days

One of  my friends thought a scotch bonnet was called a sonnet but she's still lovely.

Sat in the park earlier, listened to soul and motown including Alexander O Neill, Oliver Cheetham. My favourite song at the moment is Josephine by Chris Rea; 'I send you all my love, every step I take for you'. Dreamy days. .magic. Spread positive energy.

I made a pitch for a job. Eek out the days. I have my family and memories from when I was a kid. Yesterday in Bedford 6.30am I was the only one in shorts as my life is warm. We were encouraging the runners , playing the tambo. Athletes look good.

After the job I was walking, running the 8 miles to town centre. An off duty cop stopped me saying you're going to run out of A6 walkway. So he radioed a van to give me  a lift. Lovely chap; we chatted. The van arrived- and the cop's car had gone flat. I was dropped off at the new Brewpoint building in the back of a police van and they went back to jump-start their colleague's car.
