Have been to the gym three days in a row now including today a day off. Lost nearly half a stone from Tuesday morning.
Want to overachieve; like the Wales rugby team.
Last night was so productive for running; an outlet, was in the fast zone.

My career ambitions have been thwarted by the elements. 16 hr supervisory shift in Nottingham washed out by flooding; i read about management and leadership.

I did a 12 hr sleep catchup, sleep a cold off; missed out on a back up job in Guildford. Didn't do running training because of the rain. I don't do the 5k's anymore;  only the longer events ie a 10k in Manchester Sunday for those in the beer industry. Supercede your projects; we evolve- it's not 2014 anymore.

So rugby tomorrow; when i suggested an Eng v Wal final there were shrieks of consternation at work.

My uncle, Mum's brother died yesterday; will be buried with his father and younger brother. He was a character; aged 80 he recently had a beautiful kid who will now be fatherless. I will dedicate today's shift to him. No one told me that he was no more; otherwise I wouldn't have been at a place called Wolfgangs for a house stein- Sunday wind downer.
Let's make the day ours.

Vicky Pattison on MasterChef was ok to start off with but became more and more coked up. She was like a child; overexcited at praise and a sad face at constructive criticism. Michelin star chefs have gravitas and decorum and she's hugging them; it was draining and stressful to watch.

A pleasant day of handing out medals to Royal Parks half marathon finishers. The top ones have flat stomachs; I have not drunk this weekend.

Don't get carried away; have to have middle ground.

Diary entry

Quiet today; yucky rain- go to Bannatyne's gym tomorrow for a swim, jacuzzi.

Have a hotel stay booked for Thursday in Manchester; some quiet time in a room before Indy Man at the Victorian baths-in at the deep end. A live feed of the evening should happen.

Saturday there's an event Decade of Bitterness, not necessarily a precis of my life but not going to make it. An early night as working Sun 5am-about 3pm at two events before hotfooting it back.

Tues it's the folks wedding anniversary, Wed Nottingham fest with a monster list. What i could do halfway through is run down to West Bridgford to join the running club running round Pierrepoint and then run back to Motorpoint for rest of the fest.

Wed 16th working at Sheffield fest and stopping over. Sun 20th Chesterfield half marathon; all go, increase the lactate threshold.
