Closing of the decade

Boxing Day afternoon we went to the EDT East Dulwich Tavern for a recovery session which involved Scrabble. Had some Vietnamese in Camberwell; pleased that they had Saigon beer ah the Vietnamese memories. Islington way Walkabout was a touch too cheesy and populated by Aussie oiks punching a boxing ball. Where's your finesse? You're in cultured Europe now.
Barrio's cool in that it has a caravan inside which makes trailer types feel at home. We got in a cab to go to Kings Cross at a very good price. Just near Kings x we saw the flashing blue lights; we were in an unlicenced cab. First we were told to wait but then we left and walked.
Egg was friendly.
The closing of the decade is upon us.

Writer's reign

Yesterday went to the Darts and then the Blackstock, Finsbury Park..where you have to be buzzed into the toilet from the bar as drugs there is rife. Reminds me of a 24 hr shop in Forest Hill where you talk through a cut hole in the glass door. I had said 'if you let me in i'll show you what i want' as he had problems comprehending.

Sunday started off chilled/ monged watching Crocodile Dundee 2; 'you know who that was? Clint Eastwood!' Then Devo in Balham followed by comedy in the Bedford; great compere. There's a dj on Sundays and we were bopping away the night after doing the same at the Egg; Amnesia, Ibitha.
