Reap the rewards from risks.
Liked some childminding over the weekend.

We marked the earlier darkness with a Sun night shoot. Breakfast on set was at 3pm; with chips. Filmed under a flyover; juxtaposed with an urban version of Niagra..how i disliked the effluence of litter downstream. What was not to like on set? 'It's a perm', outrageous gorgeousness and Piers from the New Statesman; one of my comedy heroes! I wanted to say to him 'Fingers Piers'; Alan B'stard would close drawers on Piers' fingers.
In the eye of the storm, rock legend Lou Reed performing in heaven, Joe Hart's latest clanger; never a dull moment.
There are no night buses in that part of London so i would've been royally fcked if it weren't for a lift to Piccadilly. Was buoyed by midnight pasta and filter coffee.

As the coach takes a corner near Swiss Cottage you try not to pee on yourself in the toilet. Three and a half hours is no problem; you get lost in a meditative, headphone world. Clouds and skies are nice along the motorway and then you hit the life in London. The Phoenix near St James Park is nice but you're looking at £18 for a sharing platter; in Sheffield you can get scram for under a fiver. Was pleasant in Kennington later. Oaka's Christmas menu is gonna have ribs marinated in sake, black beans and garlic. Tamarind turkey! Sat with a blanket festival style.
Did the Clapham South Chatkara run; whole grilled chicken and chips. Rutland Arms, Sheffield is known for it's Pimp My Salad which can include octopus, steal, fishfingers. I did go for chips and onion bhajis with curry sauce in naan, and a home made chilli sauce which blew head off. The train from Meadowhall stops at the entrance of the Sheffield Tap on the platform. They do at least 202 bottled beers; it is an emporium. Rutland has eclectic jukebox and a gluten free beer Celia. Went to Henrys, the Fat Cat. Like the Supertram; didn't they have some hit songs?
Helped out at Steel City festival; wore a fez. Was set up quite well in the sports centre with the beer pythons. Had fun with a girl later.
Filming on Sun.

Had some hard chicken today; i'm an old boiler. Also made a gloopy, fragrant stew.

Steel City going to have crazy suggestions; in life you got to try as they can work.
I'm going to sparkle at the audition; my friends'll be thrilled. We're generating positivity.

Sad that some people are conceited; put themselves before you, marginalise you. Ready to bounce back. Others see that i'm perceptive. Saw the good in individuals.

Various feelings of longing, disinterest. Three things on today and went to none of them.
Tying things up from the past; doing what needs to be done. There is a beautiful end to pain. Waves of light.

Saddened by the passing of Felix Dexter who people will remember from the 90s. He looked gaunt on Citizen Khan; the heroes are going. He was a private man apparently.

It was good to go out locally tonight ie the night didn't start and finish miles away. Colombian types; think Shakiras. Went out 11.30pm, came back 2am.
Yesterday was further; Northern skies over the Bullring, Birmingham. Was in Banbury for the first time; saw the Oxford Canal. Oxford itself is 20 mins away on Cross Country. Great team spirit in Oxford. Wanted to go fishing Sat but not doing that now. Going to Sheffield midweek; do like to get away from London..not always inspiring here. Hope to have a nice little project that leads up to Christmas. I'm well on the way to the impossible.
There'll be intemperance, lust. And then happy for a meditative Christmas. Hiding away for a few days now till an audition.

Tues was given a half day off; in the evening went to a presentation in Sambrooks via a nice walk from Wandsworth Common and down Plough Road. It was German beer and food matching; didn't stay for it all, went to China Boulevard in very nearby Wandsworth Bridge where you can get various congees, dumplings and generally inspires you to cook. I made a tiger's milk/soup with chillies, fish sauce. You can get to the riverside there by helicopter or speedboat Beckham style; you choose. Or the 28 bus.
Tonight's events are based interactively on what's going to happen tomorrow and next week.
