Sunday- totes amaze. Drove to Sawbridgeworth, Essex in 1hr15, via Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf, A13, North Circular, M11. The setting was beautiful; Manor of Lodges Golf Club..acres of green, a waterfall, summer air. A wedding reception; connections back to 70s. There to bless respect/ bless the union. How do you follow that up on a Sunday evening? To dance the end of the weekend drum n bass style in Elephant al fresco at Ministry of Sound. Was there for a little under three hours and it was bliss; a healthy end with water. Great mc-ing; thrilling day.

Sat- had to get my art fix. I didn't know the installation was also open Sat morning so I went to West Ealing via Shepherds Bush. The everyday experience of corporate life and its spaces via this interpretation; I work with data so this appealed. The workplace is the machine. Fri-saw Palace at Tooting and Mitcham..football at local level, bright, young appreciative crowd who were happy that our fans came down..shook hands. The ground just a few stops away on the tram.

No grass growing under the feet; booked a trip to Helsinki, Finland. A cheap trip; in the height of summer. I don't care about air miles etc; going because I was asked..to feel the energy. Should go to Estonia. Went to the park today; pleasant enough.
Looking for USB cables, memory card convertors.

A quiet, slightly boring Sat night in. Watch tv? No. Read? No. Had kippers, crab, French coffee. Only had 4 hrs sleep last night but was alright. Actions are catalysts for other actions.
Sometimes the best people are taken; so much happens in life.

Countless blessings

Tues- had a 14oz steak; you can sub chips with salad. It was great going to Sutton Utd, v Crystal Palace X1. Three of us; a good knowledge of football, at a previously not been to ground. Generally I've not felt this happy for about a year. The life you want. There have been memories that sustain.
Tonight was Singapore laksa, roti canai and fish congee. Like Djokovic you can come back quickly from what's gone wrong; adapting.
Today share the abundance. A journey of spreading love and joy.

Celebrate with smiles

How I spend time on a Sunday; in a field, dismantling a pop-up. It was hard yakka but enjoyed it. Always sunny in Ealing; even when it rains it's not much..in life you remember when the good outweighs the bad, and vice versa. Sometimes you don't open the door, and you say 'why didn't I do it before?' The inner voice decides for you. After 6 hrs yesterday the bonding union of men sat together was a delight. Djokovic's passing winning shot a joy.  Sometimes you are respected but not loved. There's still that British thing of going for the underdog blindly; it was without objective reason..perhaps to annoy the top dog. Blunt the weapons of the opposition. Ronaldo gets denied goals by his own team mates; it's jealousy..thinking oh he always scores.
Sat was up early; sunning in garden. Tooting- Leatherhead was fine. Had lunch with my assistant boss at Caesars, with its Roman columns. The burger is called a Right Gobful aka Boadecia's Revenge. It was delish, the company great. There is an Olympic Burger on the specials; 3 x 8lb burgers. Next was my friend's wedding; got there in good time. We're ex-ravers and don't see each other so much; funny the directions we take..wasn't as glam as it should've been but the chains of events are better now. Didn't sleep great Fri night but the food, energy drink, water helped Sat. There was an inflatable with a hole; you take a running jump and then you go down a slide. Dreamy, enchanted wedding. Bales of hay, deckchairs, tepees, Bake-off, went on a horse and cart from the church service..hymns and Pimms. I put some glitter facepaint. The band mixed songs; modern chart ones..they couldn't do the Eddie Van Halen slide guitar in Jump but still loved it. Street food spot on; fishcake, mushy peas, then Canadian salmon burger. 2-11pm, got a lift to Sutton so was in shortly after midnight..doesn't have to be a mad day..beautiful will more than do.
Fri- 10 hr shift, then a 1.5 hrs travel to do bar work where it was non-stop and you do hit 'the wall' but you go through it. The weekend a fabuloso one; people being nice..love flowing.

Yesterday evening washed the car with suds in slinky rags. Made kale, cheese tomato flatbread.

Sun is out already; let's get through this..the day :-)

Fri: Couldn't make Ubrew in town.
Sat: Had a dry shave, leccy job; £4? Sat out at Fourpure; it was heaving, met a Camra lad, enjoyed the sun. Didn't go to Beavertown's open day in Tottenham Hale. Quiet Sat night.
Today: Did a four cheese macaroni bake. Enjoying garden sun before the working week.

Stay winning

On Sun blazing weather at the Oval. Nice buffet afterwards in Camberwell.
Mon- only one place I wanted to be at after work; Wimbledon Village. Didn't see Djokovic floating about but loved the truly international atmosphere; ESPN staff, Americans, well heeled. The bus back was full so walked down and was able to get cod and chips Spoons kitchen special for 3.99..two pieces with lemon. Should've sat in the quieter theatre part. A Five Guys takeout, not for me, cheeseburger with HP sauce.
Tues- Pista Colada but not to get pist. Happen to things, not things happen to you. You can bring the best out of life; experiences, many times over.
Wed- When it's 36.7c I should be down the beach but my colleague on hol so I was not amused and you knuckle down.. with 'lunch' break to burn your face off. After work cooked veg stir fry, breaded chicken escalopes.
As evidenced in the football tonight in life you can lose unluckily but to countenance that you can win in different almost unlikely ways. Defeats into victories.
