Loved yesterday. Streatham-Bromley South via Herne Hill and the Lambeth County Show; it grounds you. Quick stop in the Spoons opposite the station in Bromley in between trains. I didn't want to go through London; the train arrives at Maidstone at the same time anyway. The Maidstone Spoons wasn't the best; I need more global interests. Waited till Steve got there who had done Woolwich to Maidstone Barracks. It was nice to have the breakfast; couldn't finish it, left the beans. Couldn't wait to move straight down to the Flowerpot which was a whole different world; how places are meant to be. So laid back there. The ground near there; it was a good crack. Brief stopover in Strood before high speed HST to Stratford; it's a direct route. Staff at Stratford station awaited us with flags for the Para athletes event. Where was Hannah Cockcroft? :-) Walked to Stratford Central Line through Westfield.
