After Sunday morning reflection went Woolwich way to see the Marathon race. Just near the Woolwich Ferry at the roundabout. An opportunity to see my friend's new kid. Saw Wilson Kipsang, and smiley Paula Radcliffe flanked by male runners; 'where's my cappucino?' oh that's runners on set. Whereas it was warm at the Palace match it was quite cold here. Didn't have much time for silly costumes; more concerned with athletic prowess. Encouraged them; high fives on the run.
Spoons in the square near Woolwich Arsenal station. Then a tasting in a penthouse along the river affording the most lovely of views. Got a lift to sharp urban Abbey Wood.
Hache Sunday roast burger takeout. Several Marathon runners in Balham with their badges and after race limp and great spirit.
On with the week; ahead of a long weekend.
