the Huffing and Heaving Post
Stayed in on a Sat night which is fine. Fri night had boat drinks at the Tattershall Castle and then out locally till 5am :)Had a drive tonight (Sat night),saw Match of the Day, did a photo log 'Kodak moments'. Wonder how Norwich and QPR will fare in the Premiership; hopefully joined by someone new like Cardiff. Canaries' Grant Holt might do alright. There have been plenty of West Ham jokes by their morose supporters. Robbie Savage retired today. He'll do well in media. Twitter's newest recruit Gary Neville was having a go at him ;-)Savage was still drinking past 3.30am.
Saw some masterclasses by Chris Gayle and Viru Sehwag. With the latter there was almost a silence round the ground; people couldn't believe what they were witnessing including his teammates. Don't be a Kallis in life; his slowness brings the other person down and turns winning situations into losing ones. Who dares wins.
Sometimes in life you have to go through a sewer to come out clean on the other side. Smell the roses; they'll be free of thorns. It's nice to have good looking friends but don't play away from home.
Went to a Buddhist meditation a few days ago; was beneficial. Breaking down walls within ourselves breaks them down between us and others. On Thurs AV night saw an on/off lover. Have you noticed that the temptation to sing 'the Lion Sleeps Tonight' is never more than a whim away? Tracy Ullman sang it on her show where her American accent is brilliant.
