A day away from the public today; stayed in throughout. Didn't go for a run after Christmas dinner. When you work in hospitality Crimbo dinner's a breeze; movement round the kitchen. I would've liked to have done a Christmas Eve feast like they do in Europe including turbot, gurnard. Previously i'd go to pubs on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day; now I don't bother. Did miss Mansfield people. TV wise saw the magic Call the Midwife and the entertaining, glowing Kylie- had a post goose dance, she hasn't done a bad song.
I remember the last time I saw Nahid; it was bright, breezy and beautiful and now i'll never see her again. Music is life; Sting's Fragile is a wild heart restrained, Deacon Blue-Dignity is a special song. Boxing Day i'll be back with my people but today was a more personal Christmas Day.
