The midas touch

Did the tax return; didn't want it hanging over me. Do the next one in April. Up till five years ago i'd get others to do it; now I do it myself.

I like being put in at the deep end at work; you respond better than with the usual regime..the rhythm's better. We want more responsibility. We want money, fame but proving yourself, being the best is better. If I balls up I go mad. Do whatever it takes to win. Know that you're good and the offers will come in; a gun for hire. Can't keep a good man down; one for the late bloomers. I like cyborgs, champions like Djokovic, Stephen Hendry. The hunger, turn to gold. I will take the competition out. Hence the love for Dragons Den. Someone like Sarah Willingham is highly presentable, confident, clued up, has four kids. At work there's some guys who I love working with. Delivering with a smile; another gets lost in a trance and never makes a mistake while some people in life are lost in themselves and are shit at lots of things. Like those who are good at lots of things.

Eng in the cricket oh boy; dismantling the no.1 team South Africa on their patch. Sometimes being fearless is the only way you'd win; turn things on their head. Stokes is a freak of nature; like David Lloyd said a mongrel..filth, a streetfighter.

Surbiton is like a village far from the madding crowds of London. Talked 70's electronic music; Kraftwerk, Human League..and cricket. There is no off season; people were out.
