Yesterday went to Kensington Olympia; think there was a Vegan show on, got some rapeseed oil. Walked to High St Ken; there was a celebration of defiance over the Women Who Eat On Tubes. How intrusive, misogynistic. The aptly named Burke probably disapproves of the emancipation of women drivers in Saudi Arabia; so i lent my support passing through to Monument. I ate pasta out of a lunchbox; that's right. Others had a picnic hamper; we were given paper plates. I myself if i eat anything would eat it in a corner of a carriage and then take my seat but that's just me; women can't be objectified. In anything public; a forum or a form of transport we still have zones of privacy. There were some hack reporters on the tube asking slightly weird questions. Even though there were police at High St Ken the event was not in any way boorish with booze and i didn't see any messy curries being slurped. I wished the people well as i got off and enjoyed an empty Central Line to Stratford. Went to Cafe Football; didn't see Gary Neville. 'Hustle and heart set us apart' love it; his professionalism, he doesn't put a foot wrong unlike some outdated car crash people. The tv's there are fantastic. Sunny outside; good buzz in Westfield, it is like a new city with the Olympic Park.
